Are you looking for worship songs to add to your quiet time playlist? I am here to help you make the most of that time by sharing some of my favorites.
Quiet time is essential for our mental health, but so is worship. Setting our hearts and minds on Christ and taking the focus off of ourselves can be so satisfying for our soul. And finding the right worship music that makes our soul sing is what we need.
Worship used to just be a part of my Sunday routine at church, but it’s turned into something I do all through out the week. Every single day. Worship is not just singing about God. It’s praising God and His goodness. It’s looking to God and beyond ourselves. It’s taking the eyes off yourself and placing them on God. Setting ourselves aside to praise God and thank Him for all He has done. It’s like looking at a cup and seeing it as half full rather than half empty. We can sit back and think about all the things going wrong in our life or we can thank Him for all the wonderful things He has done. It’s all about perspective. And changing your perspective, can change your mindset and your life.
I’ve made a conscious decision to gaze upon the things God has done, instead of what hasn’t been done. Will you join me?
